Drake Seaside Studio Apartments is a two-storey building featuring four self-contained units, each with full self-catering kitchen facilities. Every unit offers an open-plan layout where the bedroom and sitting area flow into one comfortable space. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining table for two, an ensuite bathroom, and—last but not least—a spacious verandah furnished with relaxing armchairs and a dining table for three. Rooms on the top floor enjoy lovely views of the ocean and surrounding greenery. Ground-floor units offer partial sea views and the added benefit of a small lawn area, ideal for children and perfect for a barbecue. All bedrooms are decorated in a consistent, welcoming style. Units can be interconnected for larger groups while still maintaining privacy, as the connecting doors are not located inside the bedrooms. A sofa bed is available for a small extra charge to accommodate an additional adult or child. Drake Studio is peacefully located in Bel Ombre, Mahé. We are just a one-minute walk from the nearest beach — a small, sheltered spot ideal for kids (and adults) and one of the best areas for snorkelling. The closest shop is only a minute away, and the bus stop is also just a one-minute walk from the property. The famous Beau Vallon Beach is only a 10-minute walk away, where you’ll find a wide range of activities, restaurants, and water sports. We highly recommend the ground-floor units for couples with children, as they benefit fully from the outdoor playing area. Guests can also enjoy a charming gazebo located right above the sea in the front garden. It is the perfect place to relax while taking in the spectacular views and soothing sound of the waves.

My husband and I began renting out our two-bedroom apartment as a small hobby, but it became so popular that we decided to replace our old house with this modern, stylish apartment. During your stay, we recommend snorkelling right in front of the property, exploring the Anse Major walk followed by a taxi boat ride back, and enjoying the local scenery.
