You come to Åkeslund to experience life in the countryside. Here you live among horses, cats, chickens and wild animals such as deer, wild boar and magnificent birds of prey. The old dairy has in recent years been converted into an accommodation with two bedrooms, a living room, a small bathroom and a kitchen. The attentive person can see that there are still traces in the house from the time when cheese was produced on the farm. Here you live with a view of the cobbled courtyard and its dazzling hollyhocks, right between the stable and the chicken coop. If you visit us in the spring you can experience the blanket of anemones that spread out in the forest below the gardens and in the summer you can enjoy as much cherries as you can eat in the garden and wild raspberries in our forest. Regardless of the season, you always get fresh eggs from the farm's chickens for breakfast and of course you get to taste what grows in the cultivation boxes and greenhouse. We offer an organic assortment on the breakfast menu and invest in locally sourced produce.

We are the Frisk family. Caroline and Jonatan with our children Edward and Ludvig. We found our paradise here at Åkeslund almost ten years ago and moved here from Stockholm when our youngest son was only three weeks old. We moved down for the serenity and the beautiful landscape without knowing much at all about the surroundings and people who live here. It exceeded our expectations an now we want to share the harmony that surrounds Åkeslund, the beautiful surroundings on and around the farm and the openness and kindness of the people who live in the area. With us, nothing is perfect and we are far from finished with everything we dream of doing with the farm, but this is also what makes it so amazing. We are driven by passion and strive to create a playful, harmonic atmosphere. Welcome!

Åkeslund is located in the heart of Skåne with a lot of excursion destinations in the area. How about a swim in Vombsjön with its long-round sandy beach or a walk in the beech forest along Borstbäcken? Revinge Hed stretches out like a savanna, a stone's throw outside Harlösa and allows both hiking, cycling or riding. At Krankesjön there is a very rich bird life for those interested, with several birdwatching towers and resting places. Just over half an hour away you reach Österlen's wonderful landscapes where you can allow your soul to fly freely among cafes, potteries, apple orchards and beaches. Likewise, Ystad with its sand forests and its rural Zoo. Or why not Skåne's Animal Park in Höör where you can view the park from the trees? In an hour you are in Copenhagen with Tivoli and Ströget, a fantastic zoo and an aquarium beyond the ordinary. After a full day of exploration, return to our farm, breathe out and enjoy the serenity of Åkeslund.
