In the middle of the Järvsö ski area with a magnificent view of the Ljusnan valley and Järvsö Klack lies this newly built timbered mountain cabin. This is the upper apartment with high ceilings and large lovely areas for socializing both inside and out with a large furnished terrace with charcoal grill, while comfortably furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sauna.
Bedroom: two bedrooms with bunk beds and a larger master bedroom in the loft with divisible double bed. Two additional beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows and blankets are provided, but sheets and towels must be brought or rented.
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen with induction cooker / oven / fridge / freezer / microwave / toaster / filter coffee machine / Nespresso machine (classical pods)
Tech: internet via fiber and professional wifi. Two smart TVs with Apple TV prepared for streaming. In addition, digital TV subscriptions. All beds equipped with USB charger
Sports: A large ski / bike storage right and outlets for water and a hose for cleaning. Large drying room with dehumidifier, hangers and shelves so you can set up and dry everyone's equipment. There is also a washing machine and iron and ironing board.
IT strategist and entrepreneur who lives in Sweden (where I was born and raised), but has lived many years abroad (USA / France / Switzerland). I enjoy traveling and especially getting to know the culture and the people. Family father of two and living outside Stockholm. We have built the house in Järvsö because we have family in the area but also because it is a fantastic area and we look forward to spending time there all year. Renting out is a good way to finance, but also to share the experience of visiting such a wonderful place.
The lodge is situated on a quiet street right at the top of the children's area in the Järvsö ski system and provides a very comfortable accommodation for a family / group during the winter. At the same time, the view over the valley gives a lovely summer feeling and vicinity to the Järvsö Mountain Bike Park during the summer months. Within walking distance to central Järvsö and a bathing lake but with great climb (100m).
Järvsö has been a tourist destination for the past hundred years due to its natural beauty and was the second ski resort that was established in Sweden. Today, Järvsö is one of Sweden's largest ski resorts and the mountain bike park has shortly become Sweden's second largest. During the winter, there is also top-notch cross-country skiing in nearby Harsa. However, the resort also offers rich cultural traditions with several decorated farmhouses classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
There are also a variety of other activities such as golf, canoeing, rafting, climbing and zipline nearby as well as a wealth of excursion destinations.
You reach Järvsö with ease via train, bus or car.
