Enjoy a relaxing scandinavian vacation in a renovated old post office, surrounded by nature. Walking distance to a lake and the woods
I am Erik and together with my daughter Noor we welcome you to our holiday house, 'Det Gamla Postkontoret'. In 2024 we moved from The Netherlands to Sweden with a dream of enjoying a more slow life, and with our holiday house we would like to share the beautiful nature and relaxing vibes with our guests. We hope to see you soon!
Our holiday home is surrounded with nature. We have a big garden where you can enjoy the sunshine, play some outdoor games or enjoy a bonfire. It is a short walk to Rådasjön, here you can go for a swim. And if you walk the other way, you walk directly into a forest. Here you will find hiking routes from 2,5 km, 6 km or 10 km. In the winter you are also more than welcome, there are 3 gorgeous ski areas at an hour distance, Hövfjället, Branäs and Säfsen. You can ofcourse find fika and loppis in the area. In Uddeholm starts the Klarälvsbanan, a 90 km car-free cycle path that goes all the way to Karlstad. Along the Klarälvsbanan there are several rest areas with information boards.
