This renovated holiday home is situated amid quiet, natural surroundings. The property is adjacent to an area in the highlands, which is rich in wild life. It is located outside Forserum, between Jönköping and Nässjö. The farm Ekön has been used by the present owners' family for three generations. Next to the house you will find a tranquil pond in which you are most welcome to fish for pike. The water also attract a number of bird species, such as geese, cranes, common goldeneye and ducks. In the surrounding Småland forests, which inspired the artist John Bauer, you might encounter shy trolls, but also moose, deer, capercaillie and grouse. TV with German channels.
Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them for an additional charge of 150 SEK/15 EUR per person or bring their own.
You can go on many trips both in summer and winter, to places such as High Chaparral (80 km), Store Mosse National Park (80 km), Astrid Lindgren's World (100 km) and Elmia exhibition area outside of Jönköping (25 km).
