We (Mireille , Willem and our 2 children) have moved to this beautiful farm in Dalarna (Sweden) in October 2014. Reason for our move from the Netherlands to Furudal was that we wanted to break out of the rut and wanted to do something totally different, moreover, the Swedish school system attracted us more. We love adventure, travel, nature, culture and enjoy reading. Evenings, with friends and a drink and snack around the stove or tall tales around the campfire exchange, we do enjoy them much. Our motto is: Get the most out of life. Enjoy whether you're at home or on vacation. Welcome to Näsets Marcusgård !

Property info

Marcus Eriksson founded the farm in 1917. He started out as a small farmer and shortly after: the farm became the central meeting point in the neighborhood. Marcus was an energetic man, who was not afraid to strike new paths. Näsets Marcusgård combines history and nature with comfortable modernity. We aim high to make you feel at home here and to let you leave relaxed and full of inspiration.

Our farm lies peacefully in nature but is not isolated. Yes, straight behind Näsets Marcusgård starts the forest, but it`s only a 10 minutes drive to the center of Furudal where you can find among other things: a grocery store, a bus-stop, a petrol-station and the icehockeyskola. From Furudal it`s a 30 minutes drive to Rättvik or Orsa, 45 minutes to Mora and Tällberg and 60 minutes to Falun. So nature is just around the corner, culture and shopping is just a 30 - 45 minutes away. Stockholm is 3 hours away by car and train!
