Hej! We are Hans and Winnifred and proud owners of Fjällnäs Camping & Lodges. We have been outdoor enthusiasts for years. Scandinavia and Sweden in particular has stolen our hearts. In the last few years we have made many beautiful trekking trips in the winter as well as in the summer. In 2018, we have taken the step to live our dream and moved to Fjällnäs, Sweden. In the Midst of the overwhelming nature, Fjällnäs Camping & Lodges is located direct to lake Malmagen and with stunning views of the mountain area. We are a cosy small campsite with 25 camping pitches, three recently build lodges (stugor) and three apartments. In the summer it will hardly be dark with us. You can enjoy infinite views. The reindeer walk over our campsite or rest on the grassy land. Fjällnäs is the cradle of Swedish winter sports. In 1882 the first winter sports tourists came to this beautiful area. It is one of the largest winter sports areas in Scandinavia, but it has retained its charm. Fjällnäs is located in the middle of unspoilt nature with all the winter sports facilities you could wish for. Tänndalen/Hamra ski-area is only a 3 minute drive from our campsite. The free skibus stops at our campsite. The cross country trails start direct from our campsite. Funäsfjällen is al a snowmobile paradise with more than 600 km of snowmobile trails. During wintertime you our Campsite is located alongside the N84, a beautiful route towards Norway. Our Campsite is open all year round: summer and winter.

Fjällnäs Camping & Lodges is the perfect place for rest seekers and active holidaymakers. Direct from the campsite several hikes start that lead you to stunning mountain views. Most likely you will see even reindeer when you visit us during the summer season.. You can also rent fatbikes, canoes and rowing boats. A visit to Flatruet and the Samidorp Mittådalen is worthwhile. In Tännäs you can stand face to face with imposing muskoxen. Just across the border in Norway lies the historic town of Røros, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
