Glaskogen Holiday Homes are located in Glava with easy access to the Glaskogen nature reserve. The apartments are located in the centre of Glava village with a well-furnished grocery store, petrol station and pizza place within short walking distance. The apartments come with free parking - even for larger cars and boat hangers. All apartments come with an outdoor terrace with garden view. Fully furnished kitchen with stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, water boiler, press pot and pots and pans where you can whip up meals for dining al fresco in the garden. Living room with queen size bed and bed sofa, the latter of which with sleeping area 116 x 190 cm. There are also baby cribs and chairs available. Modern, spacious apartments with large windows with a garden view. All apartments are located on the ground floor with easy access. Walking distance to Glafsfjorden, a large lake with bathing opportunities. There are electric car chargers available both at the pizzeria (11 kW) right across the street and at the Glava primary school (22 kW) 800 metres away. Start the next day with a fully charged car.

Glava village lies on the outskirts of the Glaskogen Nature Reserve, Värmland's largest nature reserve which offers over 300 kilometres of hiking trails through a beautiful, rolling landscape of lakes, waterways, woodland tarns and stunning forests. There are great opportunities for hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, paddling and cycling. Glava offers cultural heritage sites with an old glassworks which in its heyday provided approximately 40% of Sweden's need of window glass. A 2 km long hiking trail can be found along the cultural remains from the glass works in Glava Glasbruk. There are also several cafes in Glava, including one at the glassworks as well as one by the beautiful church from the 1700s with characteristic ceiling paintings. The Pilgrim's Route of West Värmland goes through Glava by Gladisvall church site and the glassworks. Glava village is located by Glafsfjorden, a large lake with bathing opportunities. The village lies in Arvika municipality. Arvika provides easy connections by bus and train, and there is a bus connection several times a day between Arvika and Glava. Arvika is a pleasant town located by the large Glafsfjorden lake with a luscious park as well as a car museum.
