Gopshusgården is a cozy bed and breakfast located in Gopshus, located between Mora and Älvdalen. It’s the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts with options in every season. Please be aware that bedlinen is not included in the price. This allows us to keep the prices low. You are welcome to bring your own or rent them from us for 140sek.

Property info

We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a simple yet cozy getaway. While not a high-class establishment, we pride ourselves on providing comfortable accommodations and a homely experience for guests who appreciate charm, nature, and genuine hospitality. In winter, we host numerous cross-country and downhill ski camps, with the Vasaloppspåret ski trail right in our backyard and a ski slope as our close neighbor. During the summer, the area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, and a variety of other outdoor activities. Take a small walk to the water with the option to rent a boat or go fishing (May - September). In the peak seasons, we open a café featuring a small menu and traditional fika. Guests can also pre-book dinner and lunch for a complete and convenient dining experience.

Neighborhood info

Gopshus is a small village located next to Mora in the Swedish province Dalarnas Län. This region is well-known for its typical Swedish culture and nature, whether it’s the red houses or the endless green forests. There are a lot of options to go outside for sports, hiking, but also a lot of touristic activities and a very nice spot to chill out near the water. Furthermore we have several hikes in the area, or we can show u around.
