I am of Sami origin and my grandfather was a reindeer herder. I want to create a sense of Lapland's nature and lifestyle with life above the arctic circle. I grow for self-housing and use Lapland's medicinal herbs in a homemade pharmacy I also wish to convey the important connection with nature. Nature and the outdoors are an important part of my life. Since childhood, adventures in the free nature have given me will, courage and strength I live in Nattaavaaraby because everything I wish for a sustainable life is here, during our 8 Sami seasons.

THE FANTASTIC PHENOMENON OF NATURE Take part of Lapland's strong natural phenomenon from Göte's cottage. All year round, there are special seasons worth experiencing, both summer and winter. SUMMER AND SPRING: The Arctic Circle in the land of the MIDNIGHT SUN with bright, glorious summer nights, which sparkle with wildlife. It's a great feeling with these bright summer nights, which give a lot of energy! Especially in BERGINNING OF JUNE nature and wildlife is really busy building nests. Lots of activity along the animals now. During the berry season JULY TO SEPTEMBER, there are vitamin-rich berries to pick right behind the cottage. Here you can find blueberries, lingonberries, cloudberries and cranberries. WINTER: AURORA CAN BE SEEN FROM MID AUGUST TO BEGINNING OF APRIL. During the dark hours of autumn, winter and early spring you can enjoy the northern lights dance across the sky. * It is much warmer weather for watch aurora in August - October than in December-January because for the arctic cold temperature* When the weather is clear, it's worth staying out to get this chance. It's just as amazing every time! It is also a very special feeling to see the light of the FULL MOON AND MAGIC MOONLIGHT AND SHADOWS over the landscape. It gets so bright that you can read a newspaper. On winter evenings when the sky is clear and cloudless, you can see an incredible SKY FULL OF STARS
