Unwind in our cozy guesthouse in central Hammarstrand — perfect for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers. Enjoy fast WiFi, heated floors, and a private garden. Hike scenic trails, swim in nearby lakes, or unwind with a fika in the sun. Spot moose or catch the midnight sun from the garden. Relax at the outdoor table and bench — perfect for peaceful meals or lazy evenings. Surrounded by nature, yet close to shops and cafés. Free parking!
Me and my wife Tanya moved from The Netherlands to Hammarstrand in June 2024. We fell in love with the Ragunda valley because of the calmness and beautiful nature. We both love hiking and exploring new things. I love riding my motorcycle and snowmobile. We are very excited in sharing our passion for the area with our guests and we will do our utmost best to give our guests a wonderful stay.
For us, Hammarstrand has the perfect location: surrounded by one of the most beautiful landscapes of Sweden, yet not too far from Östersund or Sundsvall. In Hammarstrand you'll find all necessary facilities, such as supermarkets, a hospital, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, car repair shops and much more. All within walking distance (<10 minutes). The nearest market is a 3 minute walk. In the area there are a variety of excursions available, such as a lot of hiking routes, a ski slope, snowmobiling, husky safaris, kayak rides, snowshoe hikes, ice fishing and much more. Within a 15 minutes walk, there are cross-country tracks and other hiking routes. If you're lucky, you can see the northern lights from the garden.
