Hej welcome at our farm 'gammelgården.' in the Swedish Hälsingland. Our farm is located in kommun Ljusdal and me and my family live here together with our 3 cats and our 20 chickens at our farm gammelgården in the Swedish Hälsingland. Relaxation is key at our guest accommodation. To make your stay extra special, you can opt to use our wonderful wood-fired hot tub.Important information regarding usaga is that use of the hot tub is not included in the standard room rate. The rental fee is SEK 250 per session. The hot tub is shared with our other guest accommodation. Therefore, only one group can use it per session.Check beforehand: To avoid disappointment, please send us a message to check availability before or immediately after making your booking. Your hot tub reservation is only confirmed once we have verified availability and payment has been processed. We will then ensure the hot tub is ready and heated for you at the agreed time!
Our farm is located in the countryside and my family and I live here together with our cats and our chickens. Our farm is located on the edge of Ljusdal center, within ten minutes you are at the shops and restaurants.
The nice thing about our rentals is meeting so many people from different cultures.
The Hälsingland has many outdoor activities to offer, a 20-minute drive away you will find Järvso ski slope. In our backyard you can use a magnificent cross-country ski track through the meadows for free in the winter and along the onsängs lake (about 6 km) you can borrow equipment for free (maximum two weeks) at fritidsbanken in Ljusdal. Even if you are not from Sweden.
You can also visit Järvso wildlife park, where you can see the animals that also live in the wild in Hälsingland. Or how about a Husky tour in the winter. There is plenty to discover.
In the summer you can go kayaking. At camping Ljusdal, a small kilometer away you can rent kayaks for a small fee. You can also enjoy walking in the area, you can walk the Ljusnan trail. There are also opportunities to go ziplining in Orbaden or to go mountain biking in one of Europe's most beautiful mountain bike parks (Järvso.)
There is also a lot to experience in the cultural field, such as visiting museums or a folk music concert at one of the many gårds in the beautiful Hälsingland.
