However, you are provided with a small kitchenette -- Fridge (small freezer slot) Microwave, portable stove for boiling eggs or pasta etc. The property was built 1874. it used to be a railway station and a Tavern. Documents and photos from this timeperiod displays evidence of the tavern in full bloom during the great mining period. The decor is brittish with charmy antiques, warm colors & golden bits n pieces. The suite includes a modern & bright bathroom, as well as a spacious livingroom, dining area and the newly renovated PlayRoom. The garden and all its amenities are at your full disposal while staying at Hotellet Dalkarlsberg. The garden is green & lush, with a large variation of flowers & plants, berries & herbs, several sitting areas overlooking a beautiful big pond with a red canoe and boat. As well as three docks to choose between. Additionally,, in 2021 we installed the original Treehouse Terrace, hanging over the edge of the pond, a few meters off the ground. In 2022 we built our proudest gem so far; The LakeShack. This is the perfect dining spot for every occasion. In the spring of 2023 we welcomed a Beaver family, now living in the pond. You are all but guaranteed to see the beavers' escapades every single evening at HotelletDalkarlsberg. We welcome you dearly!

Dear future guests, my name is Johan and I am the owner of this house in Dalkarlsberg. I live at the bottomfloor of this property and I rent out the upperfloor as the marvelous suite. Shortly about me: I've been working in the fashion industry for my entire work career. I ended up making a big decision 2016 to leave the island of Lidingö to move up here to Dalkarlsberg, and start a new chapter of business and living. This meant renting out the newly renovated suite and selling nice antiques. What i missed most about my old career (running a gentlemen's clothing store) was all the lovely people I got to meet, so that is definitely my favorite part about being a host. I get to frequently meet lovely people from all around the world! I also love Interiour and antiques and this is definitely the way of living for me. Welcome to my lovely house in Dalkarlsberg!

The surroundings near this property is just stunning, if you enjoy beautiful walks & hikes then you just simply have to get here, Dalkarlsberg (the area my house is located in) is in the beautiful hike friendly area called Bergslagen. It's known for its stunning nature. There is also several nearby lakes with lots of different kinds of fish. Feel free to borrow my boat. We are a 15 min drive away from Nora, the wooden city, this is a small and charmy old village filled with historical houses, waffelcafes, antiques and you can also get Nora's famous & locally made icecream. The restaurant named "Bryggeriet" is located here, this restaurant is known for its delicious food & great beer's , there is even full buses coming up from Stockholm just to enjoy a dinner there. There is also a beautiful river running through the village and there is boat's available to hire. Not far from Nora will you find another gem called Grythyttan, with bakeries, cafes, historical buildings and ofcourse the famous restaurant called Grythyttan. Lokabrunn is also a beautiful gem everyone should visit, you get to enjoy a luxerious lunch buffe in a stunning nature setting. Talk to me for more tips & activites!
