Kringelgården is a a private farm in a completely quiet and secluded setting, at the edge of the forest just 200 metres from Lake Bredasjön. This is a peaceful and spacious place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy nature. With generous indoor and outdoor areas, it is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to spend time together in a quiet, scenic setting. The main farmhouse ("Three-bedroom house"), built in 1790 and recently carefully renovated: - Hallway with storage for outdoor clothing - Dining room with fireplace, sofa, and a serving counter with integrated microwave. The dining table seats 8–10 people. With an extra table and chairs (available in the house), up to 14 guests can comfortably dine together here. - Library with lake view and windows in three directions, with sofas, armchairs, a large table for board games, and a TV - Kitchen with electric stove and oven, a fully functioning wood-fired stove, dining table, and dishwasher - Themed upper hallway with an old school desk, blackboard, and vintage educational charts - Living room with sofa, armchair, rocking chair, and a daybed - Master bedroom with a double bed, workspace desk, TV and views of the lake and farmland - Children’s bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed - Additional bedroom with two single beds and farmland view - Bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer (The bathroom used to be part of the kitchen and still contains a wood-fired baking oven. I remember dear old Edith baking bread here when I was a child. It still works.) The cottage ("Two-bedroom house"): - One large main room with kitchen, dining table sofa and fireplace. The dining table seats 6 people (8 with extra chairs available in the bedroom) - Bedroom with double bed - Family bedroom with double bed and bunk bed - Bathroom with washing machine and dryer

The forest surrounding Kringelgården has been cared for by my family for more than 100 years. I focus on recreation and nature experiences rather than timber production, and my father did the same in his time. The result is a varied, calm, and beautiful forest landscape, perfect for walks, swimming, berry picking, and simply being in nature. I hope you will find it as enjoyable as I do.

This is a completely quiet and secluded part of the countryside, with no traffic and no neighbours nearby. At night, it is pitch dark and utterly silent. On clear evenings, the sky opens up in a breathtaking display of thousands of stars, sharp and crystal clear. In addition to Lake Bredasjön, where a simple rowing boat is at your disposal, there are also several other lakes within easy walking distance. You can swim either at the farm’s own small bay, or on the other side of the lake (about 1 km by foot, car, or boat), where there is a bathing jetty. All outdoor photos in the listing are taken in the forest and on the farmland directly surrounding the houses. Both houses are fully equipped, and each has its own outdoor area with furniture, located at opposite ends of the farmyard. This means the guests in the main building will not be close to the guests in the cottage (and vice versa), and you can enjoy your stay in peace and privacy. However, if you are looking for complete privacy and would like to have the entire farm to yourselves, you are welcome to book both houses. Please note: This is a rented house, not a hotel or B&B. No meals available. Our guests usually bring their own bed sheets. If you want to rent bed sheets you need to inform the host in advance. The extra cost is SEK 80 per person. Towels are not available, so you need to bring your own towels.
