We are returnees who, after many years in several countries, see the High Coast with new eyes and are passionate about getting more people to discover our beautiful and varied coastal region. In the design, we have sought to preserve the local, rural charm of the houses with mainly natural materials. Welcome!
Located on the High Coast of Sweden, a few kilometers from the High Coast Bridge, near enowned restaurants Hotell Höga Kusten and Björkudden. Discover what The High Coast and Härnösand have to offer: Famous hiking trails and beaches, excellent winter sports facilities, cycling, swimming, spa, golf, the award-winning Hernö Gin and High Coast Whisky, museums, music, boat trips, and more. Sweden at its best. Here is everything you need - at your own pace. A brief history of the region:   The Unesco World Heritage site The High Coast is by many considered the most beautiful area in Sweden, and one of the best examples of the characteristically Swedish landscape. With its favourably mild climate on the Baltic coast 450 km north of Stockholm, it bacame during the Middle ages the northernmost outpost of the Swedish kingdom - with the town, bishopric, and administrative centre of Härnösand. North from here lay the colder and more rigid area of Lapland, which was not exploited until the mid 17th century with Linné's travels.   By 1850 with the construction of the railways and the mines in the north, the Sami population had moved north to the Lapland region of today.   The High Coast area was the world's largest exporter of wood products for the last decades of the 19th century, of which remnants such as industrial buildings, oversize harbours and mansions are visible still today.
