Gränsfors354 is close to nature, undisturbed and quietly embedded in the nature of Northern Sweden. The house - made from solid trunks - was built just a few years ago and combines Nordic craftsmanship with the latest equipment: floor heating, cozy bathrooms with a whirlpool bathtub, a modernly equipped kitchen and a spacious living room offer you enough space during your stay. If you like, you can also let yourself be woken up in the comfortable beds by the music of the river nearby! There is a well-tended garden around the main house, which invites you to hang around. In addition to various seating options for breakfast, coffee break or a cold beer after work, a large BBQ-grill invites you to have dinner with friends. Due to the great location in nature, you can always take a walk in the adjacent forest, along the river or at the nearby lake and let your mind wander and your soul relax!
Gränsfors354 is located in the village Gränsfors which is quite in the middle of Hudiksvall and Sundsvall near the E4. You can reach Gränsfors354 by car (~3h on the E4 from Stockholm) or by train (~2:30h from Stockholm to Hudiksvall plus pickup though us, taxi or bus). Close nearby is the Lake Grännsjön, the Baståån river runs through the village. Although the village is not large, it has a lot to offer: beginning at the famous forge Gränsfors Bruk over the pottery Gränsfors Blomkruksfabrik - which are historic monuments of a vibrant craft industry – up to the super tasty Cafe Augustas, where you can enjoy drinks & food, sometimes even with barbecue and live music. On clear days you can see the Gulf of Bothnia or the mountains of hassela, only some examples of experiences around.
