The Moose Lodge is a spacious and comfortable Scandinavian log cabin, beautifully located in the unspoilt nature of Jämtland, Sweden. Built with solid local timber in traditional Scandinavian style, the lodge combines authentic character with modern comfort, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in every season. The house offers generous living space with large windows overlooking the surrounding forests and open landscapes. Guests particularly enjoy the cosy seating area with wood-burning stove, the spacious dining area for shared meals, and the fully equipped open-plan kitchen with cooking island and modern appliances. The lodge accommodates up to eight guests and features four comfortable bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three upstairs. Each bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200 cm), which can be arranged as a double bed, if preferred. Freshly made beds are ready upon arrival. There are two spacious bathrooms with showers and double washbasins, as well as two separate toilets. Underfloor heating throughout the house ensures comfort all year round. Outside, guests can relax in the large garden with terrace, picnic table and fire pit. For extra relaxation, a private sauna and hot tub are available on request (additional charge). Free Wi-Fi is provided, and the spacious entrance hall offers plenty of room for outdoor clothing and equipment. During winter, the landscape transforms into a snowy wonderland, offering unique experiences such as husky sledding and snowmobile tours through forests and frozen lakes (available on request via local partners). Despite its quiet location, the lodge is only a 15-minute drive from the village of Bräcke, where guests will find a supermarket, pharmacy, a train station and a few small local establishments for simple meals or refreshments.
