Ormanäs Stugby is slowly wakening up after a long period of stillness. Åsa and Stefan Ström bought Ormanäs Stugby in 2022 and are working to lead the place back to its original shape. Camilla Jönsson is working during 2026 to help the guests enjoing the lovely retro cabins and the beautiful spot in the forest!

Ormanäs cottage village, featuring retro cabins built between 1935 and 1965, is a perfect place for weekend getaways or holidays in the heart of nature. Here you´ll enjoy peace and presence, as well as unique opportunities for conversation and fellowship. The cottage village is also ideal for gatherings, meetings, and conferences. The cabins are well-kept and renovated, while preserving their original standard and character. They can host 4 to 6 guests, with two sleeping places in a sofa bed and the rest in single beds or bunk beds. Each cabin has a small kitchen equipped with everything needed for basic cooking. Dishwashing facilities, toilet and shower is separate.

Ormanäs Stugby was founded in the mid-1930s by Malmö Spårvägar to be used as a holiday village for its employees and families. The last built cottage is from 1969 and there are a total of 15 cottages, a service building with toilets and showers and a conference room in the area. The area is wonderfully nestled in a beautiful deciduous forest. Time has stood still here for almost 100 years. In July 2023, we reopened the first three carefully renovated cottages. We have retained the charm when we renovated these cozy and unique little accommodations. All renovated cottages have new electricity, refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is no running water and toilet in the cottages You are welcome to book your stay in this oasis in the middle of the forest but only a few minutes by car to the nearest community.
