Storbo Adventure Camp is located on the farm Storbonäs in Storbo, and it is located at the end of an peninsula with a fantastic location 5 meters from the lake. Storbonäs was built in 1910 and the main building was totally renovated in 2000. The old barn is renovated from 2012 to january 2017. The barn is the main building for our guests, that is were the apartments are located, and all the apartments have lake view. We have built a dining room called Gildehallen (viking word for feast hall) in the old stable which is from the first settlement built around 1850. The bar called Mjødhallen (viking word for Meadhall) is built in the next room that was the stable for the workhorses that pulled timber in the old days. Next to the lake we built a large deck with a sloggbod, wich is a shed with a big fireplace. Storbo is a small village with 7 people, and it is a beautiful place in the wilderness. The moose sleeps outside the barn at night, and the reindeer is grassing on our fields. Storbo Adventure Camp is the place for wilderness adventures! This is the place to drive snowmobile in the winter time with miles and miles of snowmobile tracks, restaurants with gas stations and small cabins where you can warm yourself and make lunch.
