Welcome to Sjölunden - a beautiful and peaceful location in the northern part of Öland! In Sjölunden it´s possible to rent three houses for your holiday. Strandvillan with 8 beds, Sjöstugan with 6 beds and Sjötorpet with 2 beds. The cottages, are situated just 50 metres from the Sea in the middle of Knisa mosse nature reserve. Here you are offered rich possibilities for wonderful nature experiences. Around the bog there is a nature path together with a bird watching tower with a lovely view over the reserve. Along the coast line, one can take a ride on the beautiful bicycle trail. In addition, you have the possibility to book our barbeque area by the boathouse where you may enjoy beautiful sunsets! A part in good fishing water with good possibilities to fish salmon during spring and autumn. Sjölunden is situated 2Km south of Sandvik. It is a cosy fishing village with a port, sandy beach, fish shop/restaurant, souvenir shops and a well sorted ICA supermarket. Here is also Northern Europe’s largest wind mill with a restaurant, a pizza place and a miniature golf course. At the port there is also a Hamnkrogen a restaurant. In Sandvik you can also rent bikes.
