We are a family of five living on the west coast in Sweden, at Blomsholm, a little bit outside Strömstad. We hope you will like this oasis as much as we do.

Property info

(You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent for 20 euros per person.) With room for one or two families, this cabin has eight beds. The spacious terrace makes it easy to find just the perfect spot in the sun and during summer the children can enjoy themselves in the large garden. The area is secluded, with a small playground and a trampoline. Classic cabin The cabin may look small when you first arrive, but opens up to a spacious kitchen and living room as soon as you cross the doorstep. The house has undergone extensive renovations in recent years with wood paneling and a cozy interior. Room for eight The well-planned cabin has beds both upstairs and downstairs, and the five beds can accommodate eight guests. With the generous kitchen, living room and terrace, two families can comfortably share the space.

Neighborhood info

Bohuslän and the west coast are fantastically beautiful and unique with rocks, cobs, seaweed, crabs and mussels. From Strömstad, boats go out to Koster Islands, Sweden's most inhabited place. Koster Islands has a marine nature reserve and is known for it's beautiful environment. SWIMMING IN THE SEA AND LAKE - Three minutes by car there is a small calm and quiet beach in a lake and in 20 minutes by car there are many beautiful places to choose from, along the coast. We have compiled information about our personal favorite restaurants, beaches and suggestions for hikes that are in the house when you arrive. It takes 20 minutes to drive into Strömstad.
