Villa Björklund is the perfect base for exploring the untouched nature of Swedish Lapland. Located directly by the lake and surrounded by forests, it offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventures in every season. During summer, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, fishing or picking wild berries and mushrooms. Equipment can be rented directly at Villa Björklund. Several beautiful hiking trails are nearby, including the stunning Pieljekaise Nature Reserve and sections of the famous Kungsleden. We are always happy to share our favourite local hiking routes and hidden gems. Winter transforms the area into a true Arctic wonderland. Snowmobile trails start right outside the property, making it easy to explore the vast snowy landscape. Cross country skiing, snowshoe hiking, ice fishing and downhill skiing are all within easy reach. We are also happy to recommend scenic snowmobile day trips, including tours to the Arctic Circle. One of the highlights of staying here is the peaceful atmosphere. With very little light pollution, the area offers excellent opportunities to experience the Northern Lights during winter, while summer brings the magical Midnight Sun. Despite the peaceful location, the centre of Arjeplog with supermarkets, restaurants and other services is only a short drive away.
