I am Metka Kokalj and I was born in a small and beautiful village Leše near Tržič in Slovenia. I have lived here my whole life, and I like to live here a lot. Me and my husband made a new house in this village and here we have a beautiful tourist apartment now. I had a chance to travel a lot in my life so I saw quite a lot of countries. I traveled around the world in 1999. I saw Tailand, China, Japan, Havai, ZDA. In the next years I saw Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, all Scandinavian countries, Izrael, Egipt, Australia with Brisbain and Sidney, Mongolia and Florida. I have beautiful memories about these countries. Every time, when I came back at home, I say: “The world is so beautiful, but my small village is much better for living”
Here we have peace, not a lot of traffic, no crowds, few people, large green fields and forests, beautiful views of the valley and of the mountains, clear air, and four seasons. We have here the most important thing for our life, that is very good quality water. Always, when I get home, I first drink a glass of cold and clean water from the tap. Our water is not chlorinated. It flows from under the mountain above the village. In 2016 our house was emptied. I decided to redecorate the best part of the house for tourists. I wanted to show them this beautiful place. In May 2018, we accepted the first guests. Since then we have hosted guests from practically all over the world. Guests are very satisfied, and so am I.
I think, if guests decids, they will spend their free days and holidays in our apartment, they must feel in this place very good, because this time is very important for them. I try to do everything for our guests, they must feel satisfied here. I always hope that maybe they will came back and maybe they will recommend us to their friends. We hope that their stay with us will definitely remain in their fondest memories. Welcome in "Apartma Metka"
