Dovje is considered the most sunny village in Slovenia. We are in the middle of splendid nature itself surrounded by mountains - between Karavanke to the north and the Julian Alps in the south. You can enjoy on fresh air and wake up with the view on the highest Slovenian mountains. Behind the house we have a huge garden where you can walk, pick the flowers or take the apples directly from the tree. At every step, there will be a smell of fresh hay surrounding you. Here you will also meet some pleasant and friendly pet animals that will suddenly brighten your day.
We are dealing with agriculture and tourism. We want our guests to relax from everyday life and enjoy authentic nature. We also have a few domestic animals, which we love.
Our accommodation is a great starting point for sports and social activities. In the summertime, you can choose to go hiking (Slovenia's highest mountain Triglav, Julian Alps and Karavanke), cycling (cycle paths to Italy or through the Radovna to Bled), climbing ( ferrata Grančišče in Mojstrana) or to see the natural attractions ( Peričnik waterfall, , Triglav National park, a natural park Zelenci, ...). In bad weather you can visit the Slovenian Alpine Museum, those with more courage, however, can try to escape the room in the Bivak. Even in winter we offer a lot of activities. The best known is the ski resort Mojstrana, an excellent track for cross-country skiing and an ice-skating rink. There are also a few options to go tobogganing ( even in the night time ).
