The accommodation stands in the Škocjan Caves Regional Park (Unesco site), at the end of the village Matavun, 100 m from the visitor center and entrance to the Škocjan Caves. The apartment is located in an old traditional karst house, built from stone more than 200 years ago. The entire homestead is protected as a cultural monument. Quiet location with a large courtyard surrounded by nature is suitable for families. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area and access to the Reka river gorge, where there is also a swimming place and a voleyball court. Our guests can get a 15% discount on the purchase of tickets for the Škocjan Caves tours (only personal purchase, not online) and access to the sold out cave and 10% discount for the Divača cave tickets.

In the surroundings, many other sights can be visited, such as Lipica Stud Farm, Tabor Military Museum in Lokev, The Karst Living Museum and others. The location is also suitable for Via Alpina walkers (red trail).
