All the buildings in Glamping Slavica are made of wood, making it a truly unique experience. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and you get to experience what it is like to live in the countryside. The welcome is personal and very warm.

Everything is always prepared for you: clean bed linen, towels, toilet paper, and basic kitchen essentials such as salt, pepper, sugar, home tea, oil and vinegar. Our greatest joy is welcoming guests and getting to know people from all around the world. My name is Janez, and I am a carpenter by profession. I enjoy spending time with people, travelling, hiking, cycling, and riding my motorcycle. I am also a volunteer firefighter and I play the accordion. I am also a husband, father, and grandfather.

The area around our glamping site offers a wonderful mix of nature, culture and peaceful countryside experiences. From ancient monasteries to panoramic viewpoints, lakes, hills and thermal spas — everything is within easy reach. Just a short drive away, you can visit Žička Kartuzija, a beautifully preserved Carthusian monastery from the 12th century, hidden in a quiet green valley. It’s one of Slovenia’s most unique historical sites. For nature lovers, Konjiška Gora offers scenic hiking trails leading to the Stolpnik viewpoint, a 20‑meter tower with breathtaking views of Pohorje, Kozjansko and Obsotelje. Another lovely spot is Slivniško Lake, with the summer beach area Ramna, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim or a drink at the lakeside bar. If you’re looking for a classic outdoor swimming pool, the Šentjur Summer Pool is just 8.5 km away, open during the summer months — perfect for a quick cool‑down on hot days. For impressive architecture, don’t miss the Kristal Tower in Rogaška Slatina, rising 106 meters above the town — the tallest observation tower in Slovenia. There are many walking paths in the surrounding hills, including a beautiful hike to Tomaž nad Vojnikom (about 1.5 hours), where you’ll find a mountain hut and a charming hilltop church. Nearby, the Uršula Nature Trail leads to a protected historical mežnarija and the 17th‑century Church of St. Ursula — a peaceful cultural gem surrounded by forest. For relaxation, the region is rich in thermal spas: Terme Zreče, Rogaška Slatina, Podčetrtek, Rimske Toplice, Dobrna, and even Čatež are all within comfortable driving distance. Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the many bike routes that wind through vineyards, forests and small villages — perfect for exploring the countryside at your own pace.
