Our family has been engaged in the hospitality business for over 30 years. In 2024, we proudly celebrated the anniversary of our establishment. Today, the guesthouse is run by Zarja, the 2nd generation of the Krivograd family, who continues the tradition of genuine hospitality we are known for.

Property info

We are a family-run guesthouse with an "à la carte" restaurant offering local specialties and international dishes. The restaurant is open only on weekends. On other days, we are happy to prepare a warm dinner by prior reservation. Thanks to our excellent location, we are the perfect choice for business travelers, families, athletes, motorcyclists, active tourists, and explorers. Many international guests in transit choose us as a comfortable stopover on their long journey. We offer ample free parking, as well as a garage for bicycles and motorcycles. Our complex includes the main hotel building and "House Krivograd", both of which have been energy renovated and proudly hold the EU Ecolabel environmental certificate. We are among the largest accommodation providers in the Mežica Valley. Our advantage is that we can also accommodate larger groups and provide delicious meals within a half-board service.

Neighborhood info

We are located just 5 km from the Austrian border, along the main road Prevalje–Mežica, beneath the magnificent stone Štopar Bridge. From here, the road continues toward the hilltop village of Šentanel and Jamnica, known as the center of mountain biking tourism. To the north lies the Holmec border crossing leading to Austrian Carinthia, with which we share the cross-border UNESCO Karavanke Geopark. The surrounding area is perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and skiing in winter. Right next to the guesthouse, along the Meža River, runs a new cycling path – one of the most scenic routes in Carinthia, offering beautiful views of Mount Peca. The famous Peca Underground, offering 5-star adventure experiences, is only a five-minute drive away.
