Guesthouse Avsenik is set in Begunje na Gorenjskem, 5 minutes from the motorway and 7 km from the attractive town of Bled. All rooms provides free WiFi, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Guests can have a cocktail at the bar and enjoy nice evenings in the restaurant with local and international cuisine. Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant or at the summer terrace. On the Friday evenings there are live folk music performance. On the site is museum about the famous Avsenik brothers Ensemble. Parking garage for the motorcycles is available.

Property info

Renowned family inn and guesthouse is known by excellent food and original Avsenik music. Guesthouse is also birthplace of Slavko and Vilko Avsenik invented a whole new basis for folk music which had not existed before that. From April to November there are music evenings at the grand hall or in the garden under the old chestnut trees. At those concerts perform known folk music Ensembles. On the site is also recently renovated Avsenik museum with the exhibition about Avsenik brothers Ensemble.

Neighborhood info

Begunje village is ideal starting point for easy, moderate and difficult walks around nearby hills and mountains. A mild ascent from the village to church of St. Peter you can enjoy fascinating views from Julian Alps to hills around Ljubljana.
