Aljaž Jekovec is a director who, together with his wife and children, lives in the guesthouse Stari Mayr. With his wife they renovated the oldest restaurant in the city center and newly opened rooms for tourists and apartments.

Property info

Guesthouse is located in the center of Kranj on the Main Square. Below is a restaurant with excellent local food and house specialties. We are the oldest building in the center of Kranj, built in 1852 with a wonderful history. In 2018 we renovated the building and opened rooms and apartments for tourists. All rooms are modernly furnished. In addition to restaurants and rooms for tourists, we also offer taxi services and trips around Slovenia.

In the strict center of Kranj there are huge sights such as: Theater, museums, galleries, beautiful architecture, the river canyon in the center, sightseeing spots, ... Outdoors and through the windows of the rooms you can watch weddings, visit the market, and events in the center. Nearby there are sights such as Lake Bled, mountains and ski slopes, a cave in Postojna and a good hour by car, you can visit the Slovenian coast.
