House Barbara is a boutique four-star accommodation located in the old town center of Celje, a city with a history of nearly 900 years. This is a newly built structure, designed to resemble the original 19th-century house that once stood on its foundations. It features a charming terrace where guests can sit or pause for a moment. The house is set against the medieval town wall and is connected to the Water Tower by an arched passage. In fact, the building stands within what used to be the defensive moat of medieval Celje. All major town landmarks are within walking distance, as also are local bars, cafés, and restaurants. Being right next to the river, you are immediately on the city promenade, which follows the Savinja River, crosses the bridge to a magnificent park, and continues into the city forest. Alternatively, you can walk straight under a row of old plane trees to reach the summer swimming pool. The house is modernly furnished, with touches that remind visitors that people used to live here in the 19th century. We offer six rooms and one apartment to our guests. Both, railway station and bus station are walking distance from the house.
