House Wisteria is located in a quiet part of a Karst village, where silence and nature set the pace. Guests choose it for its peaceful surroundings, well-kept spaces, and a strong sense of privacy. The two apartments are bright, clean, and simply furnished, with comfort and ease in mind. The terrace and outdoor area offer a pleasant place to relax in the fresh air, away from everyday rush. A special feature of the property is the wellness area, which is free of charge for stays of three nights or more. Towels and bathrobes are provided, allowing guests to enjoy a carefree and comfortable break. Guests often mention the personal yet discreet approach of the host, as well as the convenient location for exploring the Karst region, the coast, and nearby towns. At the same time, many appreciate the option to stay in and simply enjoy the calm.
House Wisteria is a small, family-run property managing two apartments in the Karst village of Sela na Krasu. The accommodation was created with the idea of offering a calm, orderly, and personal style of hospitality. We provide carefully prepared spaces, a discreet approach, and respect for our guests’ privacy. We are available for questions and local advice, while allowing guests to enjoy an independent and undisturbed stay. Special attention is given to cleanliness, peace, and small details that contribute to a pleasant experience. Our aim is not mass tourism, but quality accommodation for guests who value space, silence, and simplicity.
Sela na Krasu is a small and quiet Karst village on the border between Slovenia and Italy. Guests are drawn to the area for its tranquillity, natural surroundings, and its excellent location for day trips in various directions. The immediate surroundings offer well-marked hiking and cycling routes, viewpoints, and traditional Karst landscapes with vineyards and stone villages. A particular feature of the area is the remains of the First World War Isonzo Front, which can be explored on foot or by bike. Within a short drive are Trieste and the Gulf of Trieste, the Soča River, Gorizia and Nova Gorica, the Vipava Valley, Štanjel, Lipica, the Vilenica Cave, as well as Grado and the Venetian coast. We are happy to recommend local wine taverns, winemakers, and restaurants in both Slovenia and Italy. The area offers a balance of active exploration and peaceful relaxation away from crowds.
