House Dorče is an ideal choice for couples, families, or small groups seeking peace, nature, and a genuine connection with the local environment. Its location makes it a perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting wine cellars, exploring medieval villages, and enjoying the rich culinary traditions of Goriška Brda.
We are a family – Sebastjan and Eva with our children Jakob, Tobija, Paula, and Vida. We live and work in Goriška Brda, where for many years we have been passionately creating tourism and culinary experiences inspired by our home region. In addition to House Dorče, we have been running the guesthouse with restaurant Hiša Marica in Šmartno for over 15 years, where we offer refined local cuisine. We also manage Pršutera Brda, a tasting venue dedicated to our homemade prosciuttos, which are our true passion. Hospitality is not just our profession but a way of life. We are always happy to help our guests with recommendations for excursions, wine tastings, hiking routes, and authentic local experiences. We believe that personal contact and a warm welcome are what make a stay truly memorable, and we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world.
