Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant rooms with attached bathroom. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. Lipica is only a 15-minute drive from Trieste and the seaside and 30 minutes from the famous Postojna cave. You can go hiking in the picturesque surroundings. The restaurant serves regional specialties from the Karst region including meat and pasta dishes. Seafood lovers are also welcome to taste a variety of fish. The meals are accompanied by fine Karst wine.
