We're Nature's Nest – The Woods, a small forest retreat tucked into the hills of Pohorje. What started as a quiet patch of forest grew into a handful of cozy cabins, built with care and kept simple on purpose — no big resort, just a small team that knows every corner of the property. We're around for whatever you need, whether that's a tip on the best forest trail, help arranging something for your stay, or just a friendly face when you arrive. Outside of hosting, we spend our time in these same woods — walking, foraging, and generally trying to talk ourselves into one more swim before the season ends. We hope our little corner of Pohorje gives you the same sense of calm it gives us.

Nature's Nest – The Woods is a small forest retreat on Pohorje, made up of a handful of A-frame cabins set among the trees, each small, warm and built for comfort year-round. The cabins are well insulated and heated, with comfortable beds dressed in quality linens, extra blankets, bedside sockets, Wi-Fi and a hairdryer — simple, cozy essentials rather than anything overdone. Some cabins come with their own private outdoor hot tub on the terrace; others share a private bathroom set in a separate building nearby. There's no kitchen in any of the cabins, and that's by design — coffee, tea and a kettle are provided, leaving the rest of your time for the forest, the terrace, or the on-site spa. Once a day, the forest spa — a Finnish sauna and relaxation room — is reserved exclusively for each group for 90 minutes, included with your stay. Spread out and tucked into the trees, the cabins are spaced for privacy, with each terrace looking straight into the forest. Whether you're after a quiet weekend away, a couples' getaway with a hot tub under the stars, or a small group trip with friends, Nature's Nest – The Woods is built around the same idea: simple, comfortable cabins, real forest, and a slower pace.
