Decorated to reflect the rustic charm of a country-lifestyle, the house offers cosiness and plenty of comfort The main building covering an area of 130 m2 is accessed through a green planted courtyard with an old stone well, a shady garden for leisure activities and a barbeque parties grill. The courtyard is encircled by a wall which makes it safe for children and pets. The house has three bedrooms, two persons each; a living room on the upper storey where our guests can rest and watch TV. There is also a small study with a computer desk and a small library in the corner of the living room. Ground floor accommodates a dining room that also serves as a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with a bred-baking stove and a masonry stove. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor and another toilet on the first floor. A sauna that may be either Finnish or steam is fitted on the ground floor. Andra's ant use to live in the house. When she passed away Andra heritage the house and we both started to redecorate it. It took 15 years to "finish". We did it for ourselves, never meant to rent it. But all friends, when visit us, told that it is pity to leave the house empty because it is so full of energy and they all find something special staying here.

There are plenty of nicely arranged bike routes around. A natural science educational trail where you will be able to learn more about the nature of Karst and its phenomena loops around the village. The house is located at an exceptional site for organizing shorter or longer excursions. At 30 minutes drive our guests will be able to visit: Lipica, Trieste, Koper, Gorica, Postojna. In one hour drive you can reach Ljubljana, Udine, Piran. In less than two hours you will be able to enjoy the beauties of Venice, of the Soca river, the Lake of Bled, large part of Istria... At less than 20 km from the village you can enjoy the Sistiana beach resort, ride a horse or play golf (Lipica). Pedestrian and bike routes start from the village. In the vicinity, there are several world renowned caves (Postojna cave, Škocjan cave, Grotta Gigante). Adrenalin addicts may take pleasure in the beauties of the So?a river– rafting, canyoning, kayaking, parachuting, flying by plane or paragliding. Wine lovers will find an exceptional place to discover the best Slovenian and Italian wines. Thanks to the vineyards that are grown all around the house we can drink Teran, a special sort of red wine.
