Our farmhouse is located 3 km away from the Koper city center, on the way to Croatia (through Šmarje then Dragonja to Pula). The farm’s status dates back to the previous owners’ time (in the 1950’s) who were growing fruits and veggies on the land and were manufacturing cheese. Then they were carrying their products by bus to Zagreb to sell them on the market. This time is over now, but if staying at the farmhouse, you will still be surrounded by green areas. On the property, you can find a large variety of fruit trees: olives, cherries, pomegranates, apples, pears, peaches, walnuts, hazelnuts, lemons, figs, cimbora, plums, kakis, jujube, etc. Feel free to pick up fruits that you see in the trees! We have also many other beautiful trees, plants and flowers (roses, tulips, sunflower, peonies, dandelion, cactus, aloe vera, magnolia to cite just a few) observe the surroundings if you like nature. The parking place is located right after the entrance gate, and a small path will take you up to the house. We offer rooms in a house in traditional Istrian style. The house was built in the 1980’s and is maintained in a way to remain simple and functional. Outside, there are tables to enjoy the sun or stay under the “pergola”. Additionally, you will be able to see our sheeps, cats and dog, and maybe hear our rooster, chickens and gooses. You will see them around and we can organize a little tour if you are interested to know more about our animals. The house is then animal friendly, but we have certain rules to respect if you are traveling with your pet. Please let us know if you intend to bring your animal and we will communicate our policy.
