The accommodation is a fully renovated standalone house that served for centuries as a traditional blacksmith’s workshop. Today, it offers comfortable living while preserving its connection to the past. Traces of this heritage can still be seen in the unique cellar, around 500 years old and carefully restored in its original style, creating a special link between history and the present. Our holiday house enjoys a particularly special location in Škofja Loka. It is situated directly along the Poljanska Sora River, offering a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. From the house and terrace you can admire the famous Hudičeva brv footbridge, the church on Hribec hill and the impressive panorama of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. The house is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and work. It offers modern amenities and a spacious work corner, with a printer and scanner available if needed. Guests can also enjoy the garden, rent bicycles, or use a SUP board on the nearby river. The area offers many opportunities for outdoor and sports activities, making the house a perfect base for both relaxation and active holidays.

Sport and an active lifestyle are an important part of our daily lives. We regularly enjoy running, hiking, mountaineering, alpine and freestyle skiing and snowboarding, kitesurfing, SUP, and various forms of cycling. Škofja Loka is an excellent destination for mountain and gravel cycling, and nearby we also enjoy using the local pump track. Škofja Loka is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Slovenia. Located at the confluence of the Selška Sora and Poljanska Sora rivers, it offers a unique mix of historic charm, colourful architecture and beautiful natural surroundings. The old town, castle, cafés, galleries, and traditional streets create an authentic atmosphere that attracts visitors year-round. The house is located in a peaceful neighbourhood directly along the Poljanska Sora River. From the property, you can enjoy views of the famous Hudičeva brv footbridge, the church on Hribec hill, the Kamnik–Savinja Alps and the green riverside landscape. The setting offers a rare opportunity to stay by the river while surrounded by nature, and during warmer months, the river is also suitable for swimming. The location is ideal for exploring Slovenia.
