Sunset Chalet is a beautiful wooden holiday home located in the peaceful surroundings of Vrh nad Želimljami, just a short trip from Ljubljana. Our cottage is the perfect choice for anyone looking for an escape into nature and who wants to enjoy the comforts of a wooden chalet. The cottage offers a private entrance, ensuring complete privacy during your stay. Inside, you'll find a nicely equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils for preparing meals, a spacious dining area, where family or friends can gather, and a living area where you can relax after a day of exploring. The house has one large bedroom, situated upstairs, with a double bed and two single beds, allowing a comfortable stay for up to 4 people. For additional privacy, the double and single beds are in different sleeping areas separated by a screen. Downstairs there is a large combined living/dining/kitchen area, and a bathroom, which is equipped with a toilet, washbasin, shower and basic toiletries. You have free WiFi to keep you connected and one free parking space right next to the cottage.

Sunset Chalet is located in the idyllic surroundings of Vrh nad Želimljami, where you will enjoy peace and quiet and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, including northward views to the Julian Alps. It is an ideal starting point for hikers, cyclists or simply for those who want a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are several hiking trails nearby where you can explore the beauty of the Slovenian countryside. If you would like to spend a day in the city, there is a regular bus service to Ljubljana, which is also easily accessible by car, allowing you to enjoy the best combination of nature and urban culture. The property is equally well located for the many charming attractions of southern Slovenia including Turjak castle (6 km), the Trubar homestead (8 km), Cross cave (40 km), Snežnik castle (43 km), and the disappearing lake at Cerknica (43 km). Nearby towns towns include Velike Lašče (10 km), Ribnica with its woodcraft tradition (24 km), and Kočevje with its bear forests (41 km).
