Experience a Unique Corner of History and Nature in Osp Welcome to our house and apartment, true treasures of history and nature. My name is Marko, and together with my family, we live just a few steps away from the accommodation. The house and apartment are part of a beautiful 17th-century building, preserved in its original Istrian style. It is one of the few buildings of its kind that has remained in the ownership of the same family for centuries – the Deško family, first mentioned in the church records of Osp, one of Slovenia’s oldest villages. Our location is truly unique – the apartment is located in the heart of the village, right below the climbing wall, part of the world-famous Osp climbing area. When you open the window, you’ll be greeted by serene nature, forests, and a peaceful environment where you can completely unwind. Designed for the comfort of all our guests, both the apartment and the house offer easy access – the apartment is stair-free, and the house has just one step. We have a jacuzzi ( hot tube) on the shared terrace, which guests can use at their own risk. Use of the hot tub in winter, spring, and fall must be reserved one day in advance for an additional fee of thirty eur /3 hours. There is no additional fee in summer. Nature lovers and hikers will be thrilled by the scenic walking trails through the forests of Socerb and Tinjan, starting right at our apartment and house. For those seeking the sea, you’re only 10 minutes by car from the beaches in Italy and Slovenia, and 30 minutes to beaches in Croatia ( Istria). The Postojna Cave, one of Slovenia’s most famous natural wonders, is also just 40 minutes away by car, along with many other attractions in Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia.
