A REFINED VILLA WITH A HISTORIC BACKGROUND Vila Podigrac, built from local natural materials with a stone façade around the year 1630, is a true gem of architectural heritage. Its rich history is reflected in the carefully preserved, protected stone portal, which also forms the central element of our logo. Over the centuries, the house has undergone numerous renovations and served various purposes, most often as a warm home for people and their animals. During the last major renovation between 2015 and 2020, the villa received a new stone façade and large glass walls on the southern and western sides, offering guests breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards, traditional wine cottages and the distant slopes of the Pohorje Hills. The windows, the entire interior and the spacious stone cellar were also renovated, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and modern comfort. The interior of Vila Podigrac features a modern, fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare meals using local ingredients and enjoy the authentic flavours of the region. The spacious common area is designed for comfort and relaxation and includes a Finnish sauna and a large wooden terrace. On the terrace, guests can surrender to nature as it gently whispers, enchants and awakens the senses. The wine-growing area is also known for the road, which with its curves creates a perfect heart, which you can observe from the nearby winerie.
