An all-in nature holiday house close to artificial lake full of swans on river Sava. 10 minutes’ walk-through forest to village of Medvode, with markets, shops, kids’ playgrounds, train station... And few strokes (a private boat is there for you) to sweets, fresh ice creams and cozy restaurant on the opposite side of the lake. Some 20 minute’s drive to Ljubljana city Centre or 35 minutes to Bled. Used as a great escape for owner’s family weekends and now given to public with good taste. Offering calm evenings after private sauna or garden BBQ, but still close to Slovenian gems. Indoor or outdoor fireplace, the lake view and a good company on sunny terrace is a recipe for real chill. Many ideas for walking or cycling tours will be given at spot.
We are a sporty family from Slovenian coast who loves the heat of the coast but need to escape in a fresh and calm green pearl by the lake. In the time we are not using it, we'd like to offer it to you. We just hope you will enjoy it and love it as much as we do. I'll be glad to have a welcome check in and chat with you and being at your service if you will need me.
So close to Ljubljana but so much in the heart of the forest. Even lake Bled and its gorge of Vintgar is half an hour away. The same for Kamnik with cable car to Velika Planina with its high altitude pasture, Arboretum, ski slopes of Krvavec. In less than an hour you can reach the ski World cup village Kranjska Gora, which is lovely even in other seasons. Pokljuka WC biathlon centre and Planica for its legendary ski jumps. Someone prefer lake Bohinj even more than Bled. In just some more than one hour drive, you will be able to see almost every part of Slovenia; the cave of Postojna, the emerald river of Soča, Alpine waterfalls, the Venetian city of Piran at the coast....
