In summer you'll appreciate the air conditioning, and the fully equipped kitchen means you can cook just like at home. Free parking is available right at the cottage. The surrounding area is a paradise for hikers and explorers. Just above the cottage you'll find the Obrovské waterfalls, beautiful in every season. You'll fall in love with Muránske buchty — a local specialty perfect for a snack. Muráň Castle is only 8 km away, and the Dobšinská Ice Cave is 24 km away. If you'd like to treat yourself to some relaxation and great food, the nearby Predná Hora wellness centre offers both relaxation and an excellent restaurant, including fantastic pizza. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate nearby Šumiac — from there you can set off on a hike, or rent e-bikes and ride all the way up to Kráľova hoľa with its stunning views. Connected to it is the Obrovisko Family Park with monumental wooden giant statues, a hands-on MiniZoo, alpacas and ponies, and beautiful views of Muráň Castle. **Landmarks:** The dominant feature of the region is the ruins of Muráň Castle (8 km), the third highest castle ruin in Slovakia.
