Set in a Renaissance mansion from the 16th century, Chateau Appony is quietly located in Oponice, 12 mi away from Nitra. It offers free access to the wellness area with a pool, hot tub and 3 different saunas. Guests can browse the historical library with 17,000 original books dating from the Baroque era. The restaurant serves traditional Slovakian as well as Mediterranean cuisine. Barbecue facilities and gazebos can be found in the garden.
