Lenka was born and raised in Slovakia and knows pretty much all that needs to be known about the area. She also speaks Slovak of course! Brian is Irish and is a huge convert to all things Slovak and to Banska Bystrica in particular. Lenka and Brian share an immense enthusiam for their business and are very much hands-on when it comes to customer care and client service. Oh, and they got married in 2022! The Apartment - Lenkas, is one of six properties available for rent in Banska Bystrica through their management company: BL Management Services sro. They genuinely hope you enjoy your stay in this cosy, modern and well-equipped apartment

Property info

This is a newly decorated, modern apartment/suite with upgraded furniture and a fully equipped kitchen (including kitchen utensils and a cooker, microwave, expresso coffee-machine, fridge and dish-washer). There is also a table, chairs and sofabed. The bathroom has a bath/shower (shampoo and body wash provided), washing machine and freshly laundered towels. Free car parking is provided - conveniently, the parking space is in front of the building. From the long balcony, guests can relax and enjoy views of the distant mountains. The location itself could hardly be better: within a short walk of Banska Bystrica town center with its restaurants, pubs, clubs and shops. We believe that the accommodation is ideally suited to couples - it consists of one main room (which is partitioned to provide a separate sleeping area with a large double bed) and a separate bathroom. However, a third person can be accommodated on the sofabed and a baby cot is available for the younger family members!

Banska Bystrica is steeped in history. Every building in the beautiful town square, just a short walk from your accommodation, has its own unique story. The square itself offers an eclectic mix of modern and historic pubs, restaurants, jazz clubs, wine bars, and coffee houses. For the more energetic, fashion-conscious shopper, the Europa Centre will provide plenty of choice in terms of boutiques, shops and restaurants as well as a cinema. With skiing (Jasna, Tale and Donovaly), golf resorts (Tri Duby and Tale), kayaking (River Hron) and cycling (lots of cycle tracks) nearby you will have plenty to do whether it is summer or winter. Using Banska Bystrica as your holiday hub you can plan daily excursions to the High Tatras (take the 3 ski-lifts to Lomnicky Stit – incredible views!); Banska Stiavnica (a Unesco Heritage Town) and Spania Dolina (beautiful old mining village); or visit the magnificent castles of Bojnice and Orava.
