Welcome to the Nordic House, a newly refurbished accommodation decorated in stylish Scandinavian style. Our apartments are furnished in a higher standard that includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and a comfortable sofa-bed, which can accommodate additional two adults. All apartments have a private bathroom with a toilet and luxurious shower, and a private balcony. Bedrooms have large beds with comfortable mattresses and duvets. There is also a ski storage room, including shoe driers, which turns into a bicycle storage room during the summer months. In addition, the guest can enjoy a large garden with orchard. During the refurbishing phase, we paid extra attention to comfort and details so our clients truly feel like at home.
Besides quality facilities, our location is also very convenient. Závažná Poruba is located in the heart of the region with all the main sites in close proximity. In winter, the popular ski resort of Opalisko is just 1.5 km away. More demanding skiers can visit and enjoy the slopes in the nearby Jasná, one of the largest ski resorts in Central Europe. During the summer season, you will be able to enjoy the proximity of all the mountains, biking trails and aquaparks. Our staff is always willing to help and share knowledge about the region to make sure your stay, in the most beautiful part of Slovakia, is truly unforgettable.
Nordic House is very close to my heart as it is a place where I grew up. Ever since I was a little boy, I have been planning to reconstruct my family home into an apartment house. After a year- long reconstruction, designed and partly done by me, this childhood dream became a reality and Nordic House is ready to open its doors to the public.
