The Owl House is an historical cottage located in the heart of the mountains only 5 minutes from Banska Stiavnica, the UNESCO world heritage town, famous for its beautiful architecture and castles. Our warm and cosy cottage has everything what you would wish for with its authentic untouched character and the beautiful English gardens only a few steps away. The space is fully equipped for all your needs no matter how long you stay. Feel at home thanks to our exceptional hospitality.

Neighborhood info

A visit to the Manor House in St. Anton - a national cultural monument. The manor house is located just opposite the villa and besides interesting expositions, it also offers a historical park where you can walk along the nature trail and learn about interesting facts and the history of the manor house itself. Hike to Sitno – the highest peak of the Štiavnické vrchy mountains. There are several trails to the mountain itself, we recommend you check mapy cz and find the most suitable one for you. There is the A.Kmet's Mountain Chalet, where they also offer small refreshments during the season. The historical centre of Banská Štiavnica, which is in proximity to the villa, offers many attractions, cultural monuments and beautiful corners. There is no shortage of beautiful Cafés and Restaurants where you will be able to enjoy, besides great drinks or food, the unique atmosphere of the place.
