Since childhood, I’ve always enjoyed welcoming guests and making sure everyone feels relaxed and truly at home. My family loves an active lifestyle. We enjoy skiing, hiking in the mountains, taking part in orienteering competitions, and discovering beautiful places around us. We often travel with our sons and our dog, and sometimes with a big group of friends. Because we travel a lot ourselves, I know how important it is to find the right place to stay and to have clear information in advance. We welcome guests to a beautiful modern house located in the Western Tatras at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. Our home is situated in the village of Vavrišovo, between the Low Tatras and the High Tatras, at the foothills of the Western Tatras in the Liptov region—one of the most beautiful tourist regions in Slovakia. It is 10 km from Liptovský Mikuláš and 3 km from the town of Liptovský Hrádok. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family vacation. It has three floors, a spacious living room with a fireplace, five bedrooms with comfortable beds, and three bathrooms. The house can accommodate up to 12 adults; for small children we provide baby cribs and a high chair. Guests have full use of a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The house has excellent drinking water straight from the tap. High-speed internet is available throughout the house, and the living room has cable TV. There is also a washing machine with laundry supplies available for guests, on-site parking, a barbecue area, and a large yard for outdoor relaxation and games. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the Western Tatras. The house is located in a quiet area away from the main road. The ski slopes of the Jasná resort in the Low Tatras are about 20 minutes away by car. Štrbské Pleso and other resorts in the High Tatras can be reached in 25–30 minutes by car. Nearby there are aquaparks, thermal wellness complexes, swimming pools, and a beach at Liptovská Mara. Cycling and hiking trails start right from the house. A forest and the Belá River are nearby; the river is popular for rafting and fishing. The house is bright, cozy, and full of fresh air. We do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. From Liptovský Mikuláš you can take a train to Bratislava, Vienna, or Prague. The nearest airport is in Poprad (45 km). The airports in Kraków and Bratislava are about 2.5–3 hours away by car, and the airports in Vienna

We are located in one of the most popular tourist regions of Central Europe — the Slovak Tatras. Around us are the national parks of the High Tatras and the Low Tatras, offering hiking trails, ski slopes, wellness resorts, and aquaparks for a wide variety of family activities. Popular attractions nearby include the aquapark Tatralandia, the thermal complex Bešeňová Thermal Spa, the spa resort Kúpele Lúčky, and the spa hotel Wellness Hotel Permon with its unique sauna world. You can also visit the lake Liptovská Mara. Other interesting places nearby include the caves Demänovská Cave of Liberty and Demänovská Ice Cave. In the Jánska Valley you can visit thermal springs and the Stanišovská Cave. Historical landmarks in the region include Orava Castle, Spiš Castle, and Liptovský Hrádok Castle. Cycling and hiking trails in the Western Tatras start directly from our house. A forest and the Belá River are nearby, which is popular among rafting enthusiasts. The well-known mountain resorts of the Low and High Tatras include Jasná, Štrbské Pleso, Starý Smokovec, and Tatranská Lomnica. You can also explore the hiking trails and lakes of the Slovak Paradise National Park. There are many diverse attractions for families with children nearby: museums, zoos, rope parks, seasonal events, playgrounds, and much more.
