The owners of Anankhira, Miranda and Jayne, set up a not for profit animal charity, the Noistar Thai Animal Rescue Foundation in 2005. The charity carried out a spay and neutering campaign for stray dogs and established an animal clinic on the island, which has helped thousands of animals including dogs, cats, turtles, pangolins, monkeys etc. A percentage of the profits from Anankhira is donated to the clinic.

Property info

Laelia, Cattelaya and Mokara villas have an outdoor living area and private plunge pool with sea and garden views. There is a flat screen TV, a fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. The larger villas at the top of the resort, Jasmine, Gardenia and Blue Lotus, have private infinity pools and terraces with panoramic sea and mountain views; air conditioned indoor sitting room and kitchen. The Studio has far reaching sea views, flat screen TV, a fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. This is the only unit that does not have a pool. The resort is an 5 minute walk from Sairee Beach and an 8-minute drive from Mae Haad Pier.
