Custom designed, Bali-inspired villa set in the jungle, a short walk from the exclusive Kantiang Bay. A perfect place to relax on your holiday, or to work on the road, with tasteful decor, and great WiFi throughout. Very close to the town centre of BaKantiang, you're just a short walk to the beach, amenities and fabulous food and drink. Make yourself some coffee and kick back in the hammock chair, or pull a chair up to the work desk and write those postcards you've been wanting to send. Come home from your day of exploration and read a book or two, on the couch or on the garden patio...the whole villa is designed to take you away from it all but with the comfort of home! When it's time to settle in for the night, take a blissful rain shower in the huge, luxurious bathroom and crawl into the fluffy bed and listen to the sounds of the jungle. You'll be so relaxed you'll wake up not sure if you're still dreaming! The whole home is yours to use and enjoy with the exception of a locked storage closet for our cleaning supplies. You may see our gardeners in the yard in the afternoon as they water and trim the plants. Koh Lanta remains a quiet, community-oriented, rural island, without the hyper development of Phuket or Phi Phi islands. This you'll experience a true village lifestyle and will encounter insects, wildlife, kitties and roosters around, as well as the occasional power outage. When we have advanced notice of power outages for the day, we'll pass that information along to guests so you can plan your day accordingly. Keep in mind, the air conditioning unit is installed specifically for the cooling of the bedroom in the evening. The air conditioner is not intended to cool the entire house and will not function for that purpose. The house was designed for daytime ventilation by opening up the large doors and window and letting the island breeze through. Do note that this means that the doors never 100% seal as most Western homes.

Pete, the local business owner, has been residing on the island since 2009. Having spent his formative years in Bangkok before moving to the United States in 1998, Pete possesses an extensive understanding of the local area and a network of valuable connections. We like to think Kantiang is the nicest village on the island with a perfect laid back luxury vibe. Set further south of the main touristy areas in the north, the road is much safer and quieter, and it's easier to wander around and explore the fabulous eating and drinking options in town. Our neighbours put so much love and care into their businesses and are very welcoming, without being pushy, making it a joy to stroll through town and discover some beautiful artisanal shops and studios surrounded by lush foliage and friendly cats. The beach, of course is the main draw. Kantiang Bay is one of the nicest you'll find anywhere, without the crowds. Baan ChaOm is about 2 minutes by motorbike to the beach; 5-10 minutes walk. Motorbike is the easiest way to get around the island, but not necessary if you plan to stay around the Kantiang area as everything is within a short walk. If you're not comfortable driving a scooter, tuk tuks with drivers or small cars are available to rent in the village. There's plenty of parking space on the property for bikes and cars.
