This stylish property consists of the main 5/6-bedroom house plus a large independent outside kitchen/dinner located next to the private swimming pool. The property has walled and fenced gardens of approx. 2000m2. To the front of the property next to the entrance gate is the housekeeper’s cottage along with vehicle parking. The property has landscaped gardens with mature plants and trees offering complete privacy. This home has been built with the intention of offering privacy and comfort whilst at the same time being connected to nature. Next to the pool you will find a large outdoor kitchen/diner equipped to a high standard, perfect for cooking and entertaining. The dinner has mainly open sides (and wooden shutters) allowing a cooling breeze even in the hottest months. The climate in Khao Yai is a lot cooler than many parts of Thailand. In the back garden you will find fruit trees along with herb and vegetable beds. Customers are welcome to make use of the produce during their stay.
Host was born locally and has good local knowledge of the area.
The property is located in the countryside between Ban Bung Toei and Ban Sa Nam Sai in a fertile green valley with hills that rise to approx. 500m just to the North of the property. To the south you have the impressive Khao Yai national park that rises upwards of 1300m. The park entrance is about 15 minutes drive. Within walking distance of the property there are some local eateries and as well as numerous small resorts which offer food including U Khao Yai. Also within walking distance you have Assana Cafe. Toscana Valley is about 10 minutes away by car offering a variety of restaurants and cafes. Within a 15 minute drive of the house there are many good restaurants to choose from. The area is good for hiking, cycling and almost any outdoor activity, nearby you will find numerous golf clubs, Horse stables & kayaking is popular. The best way to get around is by car or motorbike. Cycling is becoming more popular. We have free onsite parking All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The reception rooms do not have aircon but are fitted with fans. There are many mature trees which offer shade and along with high ceilings make the temperature bearable.
